Event Scheduling / Room Rentals

 

 Temporary Meeting Room Capacities and Pricing.


Effective June 1st 2020, reservations may only be made 60 calendar days in advance. At any point in time Provo Library administration can change room rental prices to the previous regular fee schedule, honoring the temporary prices only for reservations already under contractual agreement. ALL RESERVATIONS, even those under contract, may be cancelled at any time should Utah’s Covid-19 Threat Level increase. In the event that the threat level increases and reservations are cancelled, all fees paid to the library will be returned to the user without penalty. The Library will enforce room capacity. The Library can only offer enough seating and equipment to accommodate the maximum capacities for each individual meeting space. It is the obligation of the meeting room user to follow all other guidelines outlined in the latest version of the State of Utah’s “Phased Guidelines for the General Public and Businesses to Maximize Public Health and Economic Reactivation” document.


Large Meeting Rooms 

Young Special Events Room 201, Brimhall Room 302, Bullock Room 309.

$35.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum rental.

15% discount offered to Provo Residents and Businesses.


While observing the State of Utah’s social distancing guidelines, our three large meetings spaces can accommodate up to 20* people depending on the room setup and equipment required.
*16 IN ATTENDANCE, UP TO 4 PRESENTERS.


Ballroom

$75 per hour Monday – Thursday with a 2 hour minimum rental, full day (9a-11p) rentals are still available for $1,000 on weekdays.


$1,500 Friday or Saturday, for a 14 hour block of time between 9am – 11pm, hourly reservations are not available on Fridays and Saturdays.

15% discount offered to Provo residents and businesses


While observing the State of Utah’s social distancing guidelines, limiting gatherings to groups of 50. The Ballroom can accommodate groups of 50 for meetings, classes, dinners, luncheons, weddings and receptions.

Small Meeting Rooms

Maeser Room 214 & Young Card Room 308.

Our small meeting rooms do not offer adequate square footage to follow the State of Utah’s social distancing guidelines and cannot be rented at this time. 

It is encouraged that you make your reservation over the phone or via email.

 

 

General Information for Booking Rooms

  • You only have access to the room during the time you have scheduled.
  • You must be out of the room by the scheduled time in order to avoid losing your booking privileges.  
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
  • We offer free audiovisual equipment on a first come, first served basis.
  • We set up and take down all the tables and chairs for events.
  • Room use before 9:00 am is available for an additional charge.

We offer free meeting rooms on a monthly basis for non-profit organizations if the event is free and open to the public and presents information useful to the general public.  We also require that “free room” users post an ad in the Community Events Section of the Daily Herald, which means the room schedule has to be made far enough in advance for the notice to have appeared in the paper.

Tenemos 6 Salones de Reuniones para rentar y estos son los  precios:

Salónes Grandes (capacidad de asientos 50-90 personas)

Salones Medianos (capacidad de asientos 10-35 personas)

Salón de Baile (54 x 80)            

Bloque de 9 hrs entre 9am – 6pm, Lunes – Jueves…..……$600 con un depósito de $200

Bloque de 14 hrs entre 9am – 11pm, Viernes – Sábado.…$1500 con un depósito de $300

Tambien ofrecemos el uso de cuartos privados para estudiar gratis para todas personas que tienen una tarjeta de la Biblioteca de Provo.

Información General Acerca de la Renta de Salones

  • Depósito de seguridad/limpieza es requerido por el uso de cualquiera de los salones
  • Podemos apartar el salón 24 horas sin pagar depósito, pero después de ese tiempo, el salón estará disponible para rentar nuevamente
  • Solamente podrá tener acceso al salón durante el tiempo que Usted lo tiene programado
  • Tiene que estar saliendo del Salón a la hora exacta para evitar severas multas
  • Aceptamos Visa, MasterCard y American Express
  • Ofrecemos uso gratuito del equipo Audio/Visual a base de quién lo pide primero
  • Nosotros ponemos y quitamos las sillas y mesas que se usen en el evento
  • Se puede usar el Salon antes de las 9:00 am por un cargo adicional

Tenemos salones de renta gratuíta pero solamente para organizaciones no-gubernamentales que esten localizadas en Provo, cuya presentación sea informativa.

Requerimos que los que usen los salones “en estado gratuito” publíquen su actividad en el periódico The Daily Herald, en la columna de eventos de la comunidad; ésto quiere decir que tienen que apartar el salón lo suficiéntemente adelantado para que la noticia aparezca en el periódico.
